– MNJ Technologies, a fast-growing technology solution and service provider, collaborates with HP to help put an end to hunger in the US.
MNJ, in conjunction with HP, launched a program to donate a portion of their HP ink and toner sales to a local food bank. According to DoSomething.org, 49 million Americans struggle to put food on the table and 1 in 6 people in America face hunger. These statistics are alarming, and thus, MNJ and HP decided to do something to have an impact locally this holiday season.
Donations went to Midwest Food Bank, whose mission is to “alleviate hunger and poverty by gathering and distributing food donations to not-for-profits and disaster sites”. They help those fighting hunger in several ways: through a fleet of trucks who deliver food to those in need, by distributing food to the outreach branches of MFB, through disaster relief efforts by taking care of those in immediate danger with the help of the Salvation Army, and by sending raw ingredients to those struggling to combat hunger and nutrition deficiencies. By partnering with HP, MNJ has been able to donate enough money to feed over 3000 mouths.
