Once the MNJ Consultants and Architects have defined and designed a solution, configuration and deployment is conducted by the Network Engineering team. The Network Engineering team, comprised of certified Engineers, Project Managers, and Customer Success Managers works to deliver turn-key solutions with minimal downtime.

Network Engineers are certified and accredited with broad skillsets supporting multiple vendors and product categories, including route/switch/security/wireless/datacenter (server, storage networking and virtualization) and collaboration/unified communications. Throughout MNJ’s 17-year history, we have had the pleasure to service over 2,300 public and private sector customers.

Methodology

Implementation and configuration services are facilitated by MNJ’s Configuration Center. MNJ’s Illinois-based purpose-built configuration center is equipped with state-of-the-art workbenches, power distribution, network connectivity and safety measures which together provide an environment where services can be delivered efficiently and effectively. Configuration center services include, but are not limited to; equipment staging, device burn-in, imaging, along with configuration and installation.

To reduce costs, MNJ often uses a two-step approach for equipment configuration and installation. First, equipment is shipped to the MNJ Configuration Center for initial configuration. Second, once initial configuration is complete, the equipment is shipped to the customer site where ‘Smart Hands’ resources assist with the racking/stacking/physical cabling of equipment. Final configuration is delivered via remote support. This model reduces travel and lodging costs while increasing efficiency.
